This is an image of the front cover of the great 27 volume paper that revolutionized scientific and                                                                 mathematical thinking, published in 1543 by Nicolaus Copernicus.

     This paper will forever be sited in history as the one that changed modern astronomy as we know it.  It showed all his findings and evidence backing what is known as a heliocentric theory.  It also disproved the Ptolemic theory, which stated that the earth was in the center of the Universe, while Copernicus proved that the Earth wasn't the center, it was then Sun.  He proved that we, and the other planets, rotate around the Sun.  It influenced such great minds as Galileo Galilei and Isaac Newton and many others.  It is a very important piece of history and should be cherished.
